Christine A. Pappin - President

I have been in the Chamber since 2006. I have been active with the Power Networking group since I joined the chamber. I served as treasurer for the group for 2 years. Gary and I have been married for 31 years with 1 son and have lived in Streamwood the entire time. I've been active with the Annual Dinner and the Scholarship Auction Dinner. In 2007 I was voted the Business Person of the Year Award. My Company- Cruises Inc, creates dreams and memories of a lifetime for the community. I look forward to helping the Chamber grow and reach its full potential.

Gayle Peneschi - Vice President

Gayle is the Executive Director of the Hanover Park Community Resource Coalition. Helping children make better choices today...for tomorrow! She was appointed director to the Chamber board in 2009.

Mary Jane Garvey - Treasurer

Mary Jane has been in banking for 33 years, and after years of bank mergers and corporate banking she has come to appreciate the values and philosphy of community banking. As a resident of Streamwood since September 1996 she has served on committees and particiapted in many community events. Mary Jane has been an active member and she recognizes the rewards that one receives by taking advantage of opportunities to serve others.

Nancy Roach - Secretary

As an active member of the Streamwood Chamber for the past 4 years, Nancy has served as Chair of the Auction and Scholarship Recognition Committee. Nancy has served as Vice President of the Power Networking Group and is presently serving as the President. She has demonstrated a thoughtful, caring open approach to serving the Chamber. With 25 years of industry experience Nancy is a natural networker and introduces Chamber members to others every chance she can. As a financial advisor, she brings an understanding of fiscal responsibility.

Dianne Dedick - Director

Dianne has been the owner of her Mary Kay business for 28 years and has been a member of the Streamwood Chamber for 5 years. During the 5 years as a member Dianne has been on many committees, volunteering for planning and decorating for many events and co-chair for the 2009 Annual Dinner. The "Chamber" is a great tool for businesses and as a board member she is dedicated to promote, expand and work for the betterment of all concerned. In addition Dianne has been in marketing at the community level for St. Alexius Medical Center for the past 5 years.

Joan Flaskamp - Director

Joan has been in business for 13 years. She is the Assistant Chapter Director of Trike Riders International Illinois-1, Vice President of Heartwood Home Inspections and a member of the National Network of Embroidery Professionals. Joan was Streamwood Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year in 1991. She prides herself on her good quality products and great pricing. She and her husband Dave reside in Gilberts, they have 3 children and 5 grandkids. Her philosophy for promoting the Chamber is promote it by word of mouth and how the Chamber can work for you.

Patrick McKernan - Director

Patrick McKernan has been a resident of Streamwood since 1990, president of his neighborhood watch group, a member of the Streamwood Kiwanis, and member of the Streamwood Zoning board of appeals for over 5 years. In 1994 Patrick and his wife Patty started their own telephone interconnect company. Patrick joined the Streamwood Chamber of Commerce attending his first business after hours in November of 1996. Today his company, Capital Telecom Incorporated, services the telecommunications needs of businesses both locally and around the world. Patrick is a licensed electrician, has been a licensed pilot for over 20 years, and is the proud father of two daughters.

Nancy Whittington - Director

Nancy is past president and current member of the Streamwood Woman's Club and has served in many capacities. Nancy is a self employed sales representative and runs her business from her home and does her own sales appointments, marketing and newsletter. As a resident of Streamwood and involved with many community events she is eager to help the Chamber advocate shopping and doing business with Chamber members.

Yogi Patel - Director

Yogi is the owner of Yogi Appliance Services. He has been in business for 3 years and can fix any appliance out there. He is a member and Vice President of the Power Networking Group. Yogi loves helping to people and believes that he can help generate more business to the Chamber by doing the right thing by people. Being in the business of service, it�s important to get things done right the first time, �one call does it all�. Yogi resides in Streamwood with his wife and kids.

Sue Berg - Executive Director

Sue rejoined the Chamber in August 2011. She resides in Carpentersville with her dog, and is also an Independent Fragrance Specialist with Gold Canyon Candles. Her past experience includes 2 years as President of Hampshire-Pingree Little League, 5 years as President of her Homeowners Association and 25 years as Director of Operations with the Kane County Eagles Minor League Football Team. She is also a member of both the American Football Association the Minor League Football News - Hall of Fame.

Ann Townsend - Executive Secretary, Retired

Ann Townsend has been an intricate part of the Streamwood Chamber for over 20 years. As the Executive Secretary, Ann is a "human" encyclopedia when it comes to the Chamber not to mention she keeps the office running. Before coming to Streamwood, Ann was the Executive Director of the Fairview Heights Chamber of Commerce in downstate Illinois. Ann and her husband Nelson live in Hanover Park and have three grown children.
